I graduated from UCMT (Utah College of Massage Therapy) in June of 1997. During Massage school I completed five seminars St. John's Neuromuscular Therapy.
I have been in private practice since 1997 as well as having worked as a Massage Therapist at the Cliff Spa in the Snowbird Ski Resort, the Grand America Spa in Salt Lake City, the Oasis Spa in Mesquite Nevada and Knead A Massage in Park City.
I have volunteered with the United States Olympic Paralympic Committee as a Massage Therapist for USA Swimming and USA Paralympic Track and Field teams.
In 2007 I completed a two week internship as a Massage Therapist at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. While there, I provided recovery, rehabilitative and injury preventive massages to U.S.A. athletes that were training for the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing and 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. I observed what these athletes did to recover from their training routines and how they used massage to rehabilitate and prevent injuries. This internship was a precursor for my involvement with USA Swimming as a member of their High Performance Sports Medicine and Science Network group.
2010 - Member of USA National Swim team as a Massage Therapist at the Mutual of Omaha Pan Pacific Championships in Irvine, CA.
2011 - Member of the U.S. National Swim team medical staff competing in the World University Games in Shenzhen, China.
2011 - Member of the U.S. Paralympic Track and Field medical staff competing in the Para Pan American games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
2012 - Member of the US Medical Staff at the London Paralympics where I worked with the Track and Field and Swim teams.
2013 - Member of the Medical staff with the US Paralympic Track and Field Team at the World Championships in Lyon, France.
2014 - Member of the United States Pan Pacific Swim team that competed on the Gold Coast in Australia.
2015 - Member of the US National Swim Team at the World University Games in GwangJu, Korea.
2016 - Member of the US Olympic Swim Team at their Domestic Camp in San Antonio prior to their competition in Rio DeJaneiro..
2016 - Member of the US Paralympic Track and Field Team Medical Staff at the Rio Paralympics.
2017 - Member of the US Paralympic Track and Field Team Medical Staff at the IPC World Championship Meet in London, England.
2017- Member of US Swim Team at the World University Games in Taipei, Taiwan.
